We would like you to meet Paula Lewis! Paula is currently our Program Overseer here in Nettleton. She has been with the ministry for about six months now and is truly a major asset to God’s House of Hope. Addiction took over her life as she grew up into an adult and had routine surgery. One of the most important parts of her story is that she realized that addiction is no respecter of persons and it does not matter where you come from or what your background is. Paula has a degree and has taught general education for around 10 years as well as selling insurance. Despite all her efforts to have a successful life in the world’s eyes, she was always empty and longed for something more. She found herself in a pill and alcohol addiction that almost took her out and Jesus changed everything! Paula spent over a year in another ministry but soon after returning home, the cares of the world choked out the good seed that had been planted and she went right back to drinking. Upon arriving at God’s House of Hope, she knew with everything in her that this would be her home. She is so grateful to be a part of something so much bigger than herself and is always eager to share how God has granted her so much purpose in serving Him!
